Jan. 8th, 2006 02:07 amAIM tells me I have mail. 1) I never knew I had an e-mail through AIM. 2) I can't read this message because I totally forgot my password and I don't think I use the e-mail I have down for that screenname anymore- and if I do, I don't remember which it was. Heh.
Chat with Gary Mauer today. Was lotsa fun- guy's got a nice sense of humor. Met lotsa new phans, though, that's the best part.
As only a few of us lingered late tonight, someone entered and we got into a conversation. She wasn't aware it was a Phantom room, she just entered randomly, but perked up when we mentioned PotO. Declared it was her favorite movie and we launched into a discussion. I wasn't sure how I felt about this stage/novel-ignorant movie phan, but after others left we spent at least a half hour discussing the movie and what we'd change about it: she'll make a great phan once she's educated. We share the wonder of Gary Mauer with her, too, 'course ;D
Speaking of Gary, I finally got to hear his MotN, and his Reprise. Wowow. Nice MotN. His 'soar' and 'floating falling, sweet intoxication, touch me, trust me...' even beat out JOJ ('Be' ties)! I was pleasantly surprised- the clips on the Mauersonline site don't do him justice.
Found out Gary won't be doing Vegas, and he mentioned a couple names for Phantom he'd heard (We're not sure if he was even supposed to be telling us this or not...), I hadn't heard of them but I will certainly look into them.
I've been messing around with Stellmond but there hasn't seemed to be many people around to notice...
But now, it is time for bed.
