I wrote this yesterday but until LJ asked if I wanted to restore from draft I didn't realize it never posted.

Jenn: As long as you don't put on any more Josh Groban...
Me: That was the only song of his I had... besides Chess.
Jenn: Oh God, don't put that musical on again.
Me: I wasn't going to, but now that you say that...
Jenn: Oh no.
Me: What Chess song haven't I played...?
Jenn: You've played them all.
Me: No, actually, I haven't...
Jenn: It feels that way.
Me: Hmm...
Jenn: You know what I really hate to listen to? Switchfoot... *cough*
Me: ...no.

I found the (supposedly) real London libretto online.

I'm happily reading (and finally better comprehending the story), and I encounter this line:
