Sanity Check: Pre-NaNo

And, most importantly, Happy NaNo Day!
That's right, folks, today is November first, the long-awaited beginning of Nation Novel Writing Month 2006. On this day, thousands of people around the world, myself included, sit down to a blank document to begin a 30-day journey into insanity.
Blank pages are frightening. So I put a quote on the top.
"I want to be creating new things, but the only way to create new things is to throw yourself into a situation where you're flailing and frightened." - David Usher
