NaNoWriMo: Day 26 and a year older

I am now siiiixteeeen. A little scary, rather uneventful.

I did have the misfortune to be in search of a Christmas-y icon today, and in hopes of funding a Josh Groban icon for the lulz I did an LJ interest search on his name, which ended up leading me to no icons, but communities for Real People Fics and Real People Slash involving everyone's favorite curly-haired singer WHO IS A NICE GUY WHO DESERVES A BIT MORE RESPECT THAN THAT. Oh, and, of course, a community for people who ship Josh and his violinist. When he says he's an internet junkie, I hope he lies and really never gets on the internet enough to come across these things because really, I feel for the guy.

Now, let me get this straight, I respect RPF writer's right to write RPF and I understand this is sort of a sensitive subject among fandoms. But, just because I believe they should be able to, doesn't mean the idea doesn't creep me out, and because I think it's okay for it to be out there, I don't hope that the people it's written about ever find out it exists. Sometimes fantasies should just stay fantasies, IMO.

Bleh. I need sleep.

Oh, and my awesome online friends got together on Skype and sang Happy Birthday to me and eeanface sang me a pretty song and it was awesome and even better than the Josh!cake and everything and I hart them very much ♥♥♥
