Life and lifelike things
Jan. 9th, 2008 03:09 pmI have banana split-flavored ice cream and it is amazing, though slightly less amazing because I am eating it only because I cannot eat anything else in this house currently because I am almost unable to chew and you'd be surprised how much food requires chewing. Stupid braces.
I found this quote when I was looking for a different quote in Creative Writing today and I even e-mailed it to myself so I wouldn't forget.

I was just very concerned about my other, more frequently neglected computer. When I got home this one had restarted because of a Windows update and I had to recover the OpenOffice stuff I had open (THX MICROSOFT), and it was telling me that the files, which I keep on the other computer, don't exist. So I went in the other room to see if the computer had been turned off, I certainly didn't turn it off (I don't trust that one of these times it won't turn back on -- it is only through some twist of fate that it weathers as much as it does and has), so I hit the power button... and it didn't turn on. Amid my cries of MY PRECIOUS DON'T LEAVE ME my mom looked under the desk and hit the switch on the strip and everything turned on. She said she didn't know how it could've gotten turned off unless the cats stepped on it or something, and I said, don't those strips turn themselves off if there's something wrong? And she said they're supposed to :-/
In other news. The semester is coming to an end and I have a lot on my plate. I found out today that we're not having a test on this unit in APUSH and that, at least, is one thing less I have to worry about. Precalc is kind of killing me right now. Missing Monday has hurt me a lot with the concepts of this unit and I have big projects due on exam day. Physics is also not so great for me right now.
Also got the information on FPS scenerios today. At least that isn't due until the 28th.
I gave Shelli a vaguely edited copy of my NaNo, since my real editing is slow going and will be on the back burner until at least the end of the semester. If anyone else wants it, just ask.
I also need to update my bootlegs liiiist... Later.
