Sep. 8th, 2008 10:14 pmAuditioned for the fall play today! Practicing in my room last night I felt awful about it but when I got up there and read it I think it all fell into place much better. I work well under pressure in a lot of things, I think, but it doesn't mean my anxiety doesn't suffer for it :P
I also sang a little, since the leads have to sing in the show. Even though I have no chance of getting them and there were a few really excellent singers up there. I just sort of felt like I should anyway -- just to see if I would choke up or not. It wasn't exactly pretty but I didn't die or anything, so I'm glad I did it XD You could sing anything so I just sang a few lines of Purple Summer (A summer's day/A mother sings/A song of purple summer/at the heart of everything). SO.
But there might not even be enough people to do that play so she might switch it to something else which is nerve wracking -- I think I'm pretty much guaranteed SOME part in this one because I play viola, but in another play? IIIIIDK. We'll see, I guess.
