Happy New Year!

It's been an interesting year for me, for sure. I went through some of the hardest times of my life but also some of the greatest times of my life and I'm happy to take the bad with the good. I keep saying that my goal for the future is to do something extraordinary with my time. More than ever this idea seems daunting, almost silly, and so more than ever I need to remind myself of that and keep hope for the future. A big theme of this year for us all, I think, has been hope, even when things look bad. So for 2009 I wish that we can hold on to that hope and maybe, maybe we'll begin to see the results. My best wishes are with everyone on my flist -- 2009 will be better than 2008. We need to believe it :)
