HOLD YOUR HAT AND HANG ON TO YOUR SOUL

So you may be saying to yourself, GEE I HAVEN'T SEEN ARQ AROUND THESE PARTS LATELY.

It actually hasn't been that long but it feels like forever, especially just coming back after being sick. My life is currently the green room off of my high school's auditorium where I sit and work on sewing a little (people think my little people are cool except for this one guy who keeps poking in my stuff and calling them weird and creepy, WHATEVER) while I listen to some awesome talents belt their hearts out over this silly bit of awesome:



And occasionally drag myself out on stage and be a hobo for a while.

I sort of love it but it also means that I leave school around 8 every night and when I get home I'm exhausted and mostly I just answer RP posts and go to bed and I haven't really been checking my flist and hardly talking to anyone so SORRY I'VE BEEN SO QUIET. Unfortunately I probably won't come back to life on the internets until the week after next when the show is over.

But seriously. I really could sit out in the auditorium and watch rehearsal every day because I'm such a nerd and I just love the whole thing. The show is coming really well even though we had some craziness tonight. We also had a hair and wig guy come tonight! He was just like, a total sweetheart and hilarious, and he's planning to put almost all of us in wigs. INCLUDING ME. I'm a little scared. We got to see a lot of the pre-planned wigs in action today and it was awesome. This was the first time we did the second act with tech so it was exciting even though, despite plans to run the whole show tonight being nixed in favor of just running the second act several times. I'm particularly excited to show off Audrey II :D Our puppeteer is getting way better at timing things and our plant voice, especially the last run through tonight, just kicks serious ass.

I GENERALLY JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR US TO GET SHOWN OFF.

Next week we perform for parents/Children's Theater kids on Tuesday, the old folks on Weds, and then performances Thus/Fri/Sat. SCARY/EXCITING.

Oh so we did blood typing in Anatomy today and it took me three tries sticking myself to get enough blood to do it but that was surprisingly not bad at all. Then I went down for the blood drive and after filling out the paperwork and sitting there for a while I got turned away because I couldn't honestly say that I'm completely recovered from being sick and you have to be feeling in 100% good health or whatever. Honestly I was a little freaked out about it and kind of happy I didn't have to do it XDD A couple people in the musical who did it had a really bad time with it and their nurse people sucked or whatever and they were in really bad shape when they showed up and it was sad :(

SO. Tomorrow's going to be another late night, we're running the whole show twice, once on either side of dinner (which btw was excellent tonight -- we'd had pizza the last two nights and then tonight we had hot dogs and chips and HUGE rice krispie treats and it was excellent, even if I'd also had a hot dog for lunch :| Tomorrow is spaghetti which I'm eh about because I hate spaghetti but WHATEVER), but Friday she says that since we're doing so well we might be able to just run the show once and then go home, which would be excellent.

NOW I NEED TO GO ANSWER RP STUFF AND SHOWER AND SLEEP
