I joined an X-Files icon community a couple nights ago. The X-Files has always had a big online fan community but I never really was involved in it. Its so weird. People using acronyms and things I don't know, I am not new to the X-Files, but I feel like such a newbie around these people. Plus after the series ended, I went a while without really watching X-Files. And though when I got into it again I was surprised at how many little random things I was able to recall, things like Scully's siblings' names and the date of Samantha's disappearance, there are a lot of things I don't quite recall, or recall vaguely.
I know a lot about many episodes in the first 4 seasons, but everyone's talking about seasons 6-8 and after the focus of the show shifted to Doggett and Reyes we had started to drift away from it, and my knowledge of the mythology-plot is vague and knowledge of individual episodes almost non-existant.
Bah, oh well.
We get together, oh we get together, but seperate's always better when there's feelings involved...
