True Story. A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage. The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholisim is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshiped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

If you would leave the classroom, repost this. It doesn't matter if you're straight, bi, or gay. It doesn't matter if you're catholic or not. Everyone is a human being and deserves happiness.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Odie and Patches must've got into a fight last night, Jenn and I saw that they were growling in the hall so she grabbed Odie and I grabbed Patch, and usually we can pull them away from eachother but they strained against us to try and get to eachother. Then Jenn said, "What's that on your leg?" and I looked down and there was blood smeared across my leg where it was touching Patches' side. I stepped back and saw that around where her shoulder would be if she were human her fur was matted with blood. "Get Daddy." she said and pulled Odie away from the area. I hurried into my parent's room and woke Dad, but he had just gotten home from State Fair an hour or so ago and wasn't eager to get up and just brushed it off. We locked Odie in my parents' room and I got a paper towel and we tried to hold Patch still so I could see how bad it was, but with all her fur we couldn't really tell. Blood was dripping off her fur onto the carpet so we got some treats and tried to make her stay still so I could put pressure on the wound while she licked up her blood like the strange dog she is. When I got the bleeding to slow we let her outside so we could let Oddea out. We wanted to go to bed but we couldn't let the dogs together, who knows what they'd do to eachother in the night, so we let Odie outside as we let Odie back in, then when we let Odie in we locked her in our room with us and I left a note for Mom.

In the morning Mom woke me up and asked me what happened and I gave the story sleepily, then she took Patch to the vet. The vet shaved the area and put staples in the wounds, it was worse than it appeared with all her fur. He said that this was the sort of wound that could easily get infected and isn't the sort of thing that should be dealt with at home, and he cleaned her up and left us with some medication to give her. And dad apologizes for not getting up to help, he says he didn't think it was that bad.

[01:04] demons angel55: I wonder what happened to the poor puppies
[01:05] demons angel55: I bet one of them said Christine and Raoul are a better couple than Christine and teh Phantom
[01:05] Arqueete: Then its obvious whoever won was for Christine/Phantom.

I was at Half-Price Books tonight, and though I could not find the OLCR, I did find a "The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber" CD, including Music of the Night as performed by Michael Crawford (It also has the The Phantom of the Opera song with Brightman and Steve Harley which I won't get into except to say *snickersnicker*, and All I Ask of You) which everyone tells me I NEED to hear, him being the Phantom on the original london cast and supposedly having the "voice of the angel", and I've hardly had the CD an hour... and I am in love with his voice. And it an older version so the lyrics are different, and I actually like these better, they seem more fitting...

So yeah, you all told me so, I know... XP

I still think I like Gerry best as the Phantom, he holds a special place in my heart, but I have a helluvalota respect for Michael now and I love him as well.

I admit it, I'm listening to The Phantom of the Opera song again just because I find Steve Harley hilarious. If I were not already a fan and got this CD, hearing this as my first impression of PotO... Wanting to see it would be last on my list. But still, being a PotO fan its hilarious to me. Throughout the entire song, he is either extremely over emotional to the point of hilarity, or he speaks in this almost completely monotone voice.

Sing with me, our strange duet. My power. Over you. Grows stronger. And stronger. Sing. My angel of music. SING! SING OUR STRANGE DUET! SING! THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! IS THERE! YOUR MASTERMIND! I AM HERE, INSIDE YOUR MIND! I AM EVERYWHERE! YOU'RE IN THE POWER! SING! SING MY ANGEL OF MUUSIC! SIIIING! SIIING!

Tell me there isn't something strangely funny about that.
