Michael Crawford as the Phantom

I was at Half-Price Books tonight, and though I could not find the OLCR, I did find a "The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber" CD, including Music of the Night as performed by Michael Crawford (It also has the The Phantom of the Opera song with Brightman and Steve Harley which I won't get into except to say *snickersnicker*, and All I Ask of You) which everyone tells me I NEED to hear, him being the Phantom on the original london cast and supposedly having the "voice of the angel", and I've hardly had the CD an hour... and I am in love with his voice. And it an older version so the lyrics are different, and I actually like these better, they seem more fitting...
So yeah, you all told me so, I know... XP
I still think I like Gerry best as the Phantom, he holds a special place in my heart, but I have a helluvalota respect for Michael now and I love him as well.
