NaNoWriMo: Final Thoughts

Another year of close but no cigar.
Ideal: 50,000
Final Word Count: 48,925
(The verifier is closed, so I can't get the official count a la my recent days' counts)
It's hard missing the mark again. I'm not going to lie. It's my fault, just like last year, but at least this year I have the satisfaction of having lived out this week, despite all the sleep deprivation and such, and not having wimped out and stayed home from school today or anything like that. Plus, I worked my ass off tonight and beat last year's finishing count, so I think I should be a little proud.
As for my NaNovel and those who want to read it -- sure, but not for a bit. I need a break from it first of all, and then I need to get it readable, because my fingers are tired enough that the last few pages are practically gibberish they're so full of typos. This is assuming I didn't lose most of it thanks to the fact that the window is currently frozen, but right now I just really want sleep, so I'll panic about that tomorrow.
A title this year? How about...
The People We Never Really Were and the People We Never Really Had
Everyone loves a crazy long title. We'll see how I feel about that in the morning.
Thanks for your support, everyone.
