Guys. Did I seriously never post this?
I came in feeling like... I love David Archuleta and all, don't get me wrong, he seems like a sweetheart and all, but that my favorite performances of his were all earlier performances and that David Cook really was a more entertaining performer and will and should win.
Then I watched.
And, dude.
Archuleta is going to effing win and he should and I'm not ashamed. He's been so eh lately but tonight he BROUGHT IT. And David Cook was just his normal pretty good self while Archuleta was like RAWR WATCH ME TOTALLY PULL THIS AMAZING PERFORMING ABILITY OUT OF THE AIR BITCHES YESSSS.
When I heard he was going to sing Imagine again I was like AGAIN WTF NO.
But then... I really liked the first one. This one was BETTER. That riff he did on "join" where he like, riffed down sort of a la Skylar's new-but-not-really-recently-but-like-when-he-first-changed-it-I'm-thinking-specifically-January-19th or Matt Doyle's never-to-be-heard-again Touch Me solo and I was ded. The last note that he totally did not riff on last time he sang killed me and
fzzybluelf and I were gushing over it, but... this time he just owned that whole song. aslfadlanld

I feel like Seth Rudetsky. Checking out that riffing at 1:45. Usually I hate the over-riffing of American Idol, but I have to admit that one killed me.
I feel like such a fangirl.
And I don't care.
In other news.
WTF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER?
That's really all else I have to say. (WTF? ALW?)
