I think in many ways I reject stereotypical girliness. Like, I hate shopping. What I hate more than shopping in general is shopping for shoes. Putting on makeup is a total guessing game.

But sometimes I give in to that girliness a little, and, like, I'm really excited for the Homecoming dance and the pretty dress (it's my sister's and black makes me look extra pale but whatever) and the makeup and all that. A few times a year I can so get into this.

In other news, I love Krysta Rodriguez so hard. I also love this song so hard.

I hear ye. When I was 16/17 was actually when I started caring. Actually, when I was 17 I went into that whole goth phase, which meant a lot of makeup, and mostly black clothes. (It was fun. I found I enjoyed being stared at.) Girlyness has grown on me. As long as it's the mature... actually, more womanlyness. Yeah. But putting on a pretty dress and putting on makeup and fixing your hair is always fun. Feeling pretty is always fun.
